” Only the best is good enough “
A comprehensive and enriched curriculum, adapted to the needs of each child, is offered by City Rand College. The majority of classes are taught by enthusiastic classroom instructors in English, mathematics, natural sciences, EMS social sciences, technology, creative arts, life skills or life orientation, and Afrikaans. At City Rand College Primary School, we take pleasure in having high standards and a serious approach to education without making the classroom a “hot house.”
The favorable staff-to-student ratio enables both those who require support and those who require extending to receive individualized attention. There is a Learning Support department for children who have been identified as having significant learning issues, and individuals receive support from this department once or twice a week to address their specific requirements.
From the foundation phase forward, there is ongoing emphasis on learning being enjoyable, experiential, and relevant to children’s daily lives. Additionally, autonomous learning is receiving more attention. All topic areas promote the development of crucial abilities like cooperating with others, communication, problem solving, and reasoning.
The development of each child is recorded and monitored throughout their time at City Rand College. All of this is done in an environment that fosters children’s feelings of security and joy.
CITY RAND COLLEGE is an Independent Ordinary combined School, registered with the Gauteng Department of Education operating in Johannesburg.
We want every one of our students to succeed academically and continue learning throughout their lives. Also, we want your time at school to be pleasurable and conducive to your personal growth. By doing this, we will prepare our students for a changing world and contribute to South Africa’s future.
